These chairs were designed by Donald Gomme in the 1950s for E Gomme Ltd. They are a very limited edition design, featuring a combination of black lacquer and white bouclé fabric. The structure of the chairs is crafted from teak wood, evoking the elegance of Italian Gio Ponti designs from that era.
The chairs are in excellent condition, having undergone a complete restoration of their paintwork and the reupholstery in bouclé fabric by the renowned Linum firm. The result is a stunning blend of classic mid-century modern style and impeccable craftsmanship.
