A rare pair of “Moji” armchairs designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Uchida for Poltrona Frau in the late 1980s, exemplifying the fusion of Japanese minimalism and Italian craftsmanship. Defined by their bold cubic silhouette, the chairs feature wide armrests, deep seating, and black lacquered wooden legs that extend beyond the body, highlighting their geometric clarity. Upholstered in original blue Pelle Frau® leather, they offer both sculptural presence and refined comfort. The leather has developed a natural patina with light wear and subtle touch-ups, adding character without compromising quality. Complete with original labels and detailing, this pair is a collectible example of late 20th-century design.
