The lamp is considered one of the crown jewels of Danish design. The lampshade and electrical system have been recently replaced, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and modern functionality.
Palshus Pottery was founded in 1947 by Per and Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt in Sengløse, Denmark. Known for their minimalist, high-quality pottery, Palshus became famous for its matte glazes in subtle hues and the innovative use of chamotte (textured clay) during the 1960s. The studio closed in 1972, but its pieces remain highly sought after.
