These little table lamps by Elektrosvit were very popular during 1960s. They were called the Astronaut lamps to reflect the 1960s popularity of space especially in Communist Czechoslovakia. The lamp is fully made of plastic. There are two parts to the lamp, a red shield and white plastic inside tube. The red shield is adjustable by swirling it either way to the side. This adjust the intensity of light. Very good condition.
