This striking vintage sunburst pendant lamp from the 1940s showcases traditional European hand-forged metalwork with Rustic and Brutalist influences. Crafted from wrought metal, its concave circular shade features individually shaped pointed rays, a decorative hand-punched border and a central diffuser of textured translucent glass. Three hand-hammered hollow metal rods suspend the fixture, incorporating forged connecting rings and concealing the electrical wiring. A matching sunburst ceiling canopy echoes the sculptural detailing of the lower shade. The dark metalwork contrasts beautifully with the softly diffused light, creating an atmospheric architectural statement. Ideal for entrance halls, dining rooms or rustic and eclectic interiors, this distinctive pendant combines artisanal craftsmanship with bold geometric design.
