An iconic Laser floor lamp designed by Max Baguara for Lamperti during the late 1970s to 1980s, representing one of the most distinctive examples of Italian postmodern and high tech lighting design. Defined by its striking architectural composition, the lamp features a tall transparent glass column framed by a delicate metal structure, creating a remarkable sense of lightness and visual balance. The floating glass stele contrasts beautifully with the black lacquered metal base and hemispherical uplighter shade, resulting in a sculptural presence that functions equally as lighting and design art. When illuminated, the lamp produces a sophisticated indirect lighting effect, casting light upward while reflecting through the glass body to create a warm atmospheric glow. Equipped with a fully functional integrated dimmer, the light intensity can be adjusted from subtle ambient illumination to powerful uplighting. Produced by innovative Italian manufacturer Lamperti, the Laser remains one of the company’s most celebrated designs and a highly collectible example of Italian postmodern lighting. Presented in very good vintage condition with minimal age related wear.
