The Ellipse nr. 2 foldable dining table, designed by Bendt Winge for Kleppes Møbelfabrikk, was produced between the 1950s and 1960s during Winge's collaboration with the brand. Known for its exquisite craftsmanship and functionality, this table is a testament to Scandinavian design.
The table features twisted central wooden pins in a matte finish, shaped according to the model number. Its versatile design allows for different configurations: fully folded at just 25 cm wide, partially extended to 91 cm, or fully opened into an elegant oval shape measuring 153 cm wide. The legs can be unscrewed for easy storage.
Completely restored, it has been refinished with eco-friendly oil-wax to preserve its natural beauty while minimizing signs of age. Some marks remain, adding character to this timeless piece.
