Timeless set of four S32 chairs, designed by Marcel Breuer in the late 1920s and produced by Thonet, Germany (1983). A true Bauhaus icon, the S32 revolutionised furniture design with its cantilevered tubular-steel frame, combining lightness, strength, and industrial precision. Each chair features a chromed steel structure, solid beech seat and backrest frames, and handwoven cane, creating a perfect balance between warm natural materials and modern engineering. Thonet, the original manufacturer of Breuer’s tubular-steel designs, continues to embody the union of art, craftsmanship, and technology. In lovely vintage condition, one seat’s cane has been professionally renewed, the others retain their original patina. A masterpiece of 20th-century design, still as contemporary and elegant today as when first conceived.
