Designed by Lubomír Hofmann and produced in the 1960s by the renowned Czechoslovakian company TON, this set of chairs exemplifies the mastery of bent plywood techniques pioneered by the former Thonet company. Crafted in beechwood, these chairs feature softly curved armrests that fit comfortably in the hand and offer excellent ergonomic support for a relaxed, natural seating posture. Fully restored and reupholstered in high-quality Nya Nordiska fabric, a beautiful mélange of grey and brown tones, the chairs blend cotton, wool, acrylic, polyester, and silk for a textured, luxurious feel. The beech veneered backrests have been refinished with oil for a warm, matte finish that enhances the natural grain of the wood. While expertly restored, minor signs of age may remain, adding to their vintage authenticity. Dimensions: H82 x W61 x D45 cm, seat height: 47 cm.
