The Airport 037 chair stands out with its distinctive and timeless design. This vintage piece is in very good condition, with the original black artificial leather upholstery showing minimal signs of wear. The chrome frame has developed a patina consistent with its age, adding to its character. Due to the unique shape of its armrests, the chair is also known as the "Bullhorn Chair."

Hans Kaufeld established his furniture factory in Bielefeld in 1918, focusing on high-quality, stylish designs. By the 1960s, Kaufeld was supplying armchairs to the German Chancellor's Office. The Airport 037 was designed during this era by renowned English designer Geoffrey Harcourt, who is celebrated for his contributions to Space Age furniture design.
