This rare and historically significant seat was designed for second-class cars of the Parisian métro and produced by Sprague-Thompson between 1908 and 1920. Featuring solid teak slats and an enameled iron plate with a geometric interlaced net motif and "II" class mark, it is mounted on an arched metal foot for an authentic industrial look. Part of the pioneering metal carriages that transformed public transport in Paris, this piece offers both historic value and striking design. In original vintage condition with wear consistent with age. Approx. 25 kg.
