This vintage Sapporo coffee table was designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi and produced in Italy during the 1970s. Crafted from richly grained walnut, the low square table combines strong architectural geometry with the sculptural rounded forms characteristic of the Sapporo collection. A square tabletop is framed by four substantial corner supports formed from paired rounded vertical elements that extend slightly above the surface, creating a distinctive rhythmic silhouette. Warm walnut grain, softly rounded edges and a polished finish balance the table's substantial construction. Good vintage condition with light scratches, small marks and surface wear to the tabletop, plus scuffs, finish wear and natural age-related patina throughout.
