The Model CU06 teak cabinet, designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in 1958, is a true Dutch design classic from the Japanese series. It features a white drop-down door on the left with a shelf, two folding doors underneath with another shelf, and a large folding door on the right revealing two shelves and two drawers. The cabinet is accented with black plastic Japanese-style grips and a black lacquered metal frame.
The white flap door has been restored, and additional restoration was done to the right interior of the cabinet (see photos). A perfect blend of functionality and iconic design, this piece offers ample storage and mid-century modern elegance.
