This exquisite pair of Empire–Consulate period wing chairs, known as the “Monsieur” and “Madame” armchairs, dates to the 19th century. Crafted with solid mahogany frames, they feature scrolled backs, knuckle legs, and period silk velvet upholstery in a refined anise tone with diamond-pattern trim. The seats are full, firm, and flawless offering both comfort and regal elegance. Seat height: 44 cm; armrest height: 62 cm. A rare and perfectly preserved example of French neoclassical refinement.
