Art Deco tubular steel armchair in the style of Gilbert Rhode Troy Sunshade, 1930
SAFE PAYMENTS
This classic tubular steel armchair from the 1930s Art Deco period features a chrome frame with doubled armrests for added durability. Upholstered in dark green imitation leather, the seat cushion shows slight wear but remains comfortable, with a leather attachment on the rear corner for extra protection from the metal frame. The back cushion is in excellent condition, and the chrome frame has a slight patina but retains a beautiful shine.
Attributed to American designer Gilbert Rhode and produced by the Troy Sunshade factory, this chair reflects the bold, geometric design of the Art Deco era. Likely manufactured in the 1930s, it remains a timeless piece with enduring appeal.
