Designed between 1927–1930 by Josef Hoffmann for Thonet, the Prague Chair No. 811 is a modernist classic. This rare early 2nd-series version from the 1930s features distinctive “block legs” with angle iron reinforcements, setting it apart from later round-leg models. Crafted from brown-stained bent beechwood, the chair has been fully restored, including a newly hand-woven cane seat and backrest and a refinished surface. Stamped with the Thonet brand and retaining its original paper label, it stands as an authentic and elegant piece of design history. Dimensions: H82 x W50 x D45 cm, seat height 42 cm.
