This elegant vintage bentwood chair by Thonet Mundus showcases the refined craftsmanship associated with Central European furniture design. Crafted entirely from wood, the chair features a gracefully curved frame, gently tapered legs, a sculptural fan-shaped spindle backrest and a beautifully formed round seat. A circular lower stretcher provides additional structural support while adding a distinctive decorative element to the silhouette. The rich dark-brown finish has developed an attractive natural patina over time, highlighting the grain and authentic character of the wood. Its open back and flowing bentwood construction create a light yet expressive profile, making it suitable as a dining chair, occasional chair or decorative accent. The piece retains its Thonet Mundus label.
