SAFE PAYMENTS
One of a kind handmade tête-à-tête conversation sofa designed by Menno Wieringa in 1984, inspired by the iconic work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Crafted in pearwood, this unique vis-à-vis bench features a sculptural face-to-face design rooted in Victorian tradition, reinterpreted through a refined modernist lens. Built in Wieringa’s own workshop during the peak of his creative period in the 1970s to 1990s, this piece is signed and dated underneath by the designer. Only one was ever produced, making it a true collector's item. The intimate layout encourages dialogue and connection, making it ideal as a centerpiece in open spaces. The upholstery can be easily replaced or customized. Dimensions are 160 by 140 by 50 centimeters. A rare opportunity to own a handcrafted design object that bridges history, craftsmanship, and conversation.
