The chair is upholstered in a firm brown fabric, which covers both the cushions and the walls of the chair, showing minimal signs of wear. The armrests are integrated into a wide wooden frame, coated with black piano lacquer, which has some scratches and small dents due to age. The headrest features solid stainless steel rods and is height-adjustable for added comfort. The chair is mounted on internal castors, allowing for easy movement despite its weight.
Tecno, founded by Osvaldo Borsani and his brother in Milan, is known for its innovative furniture designs in collaboration with renowned designers. While the designer of this specific armchair is unknown, it is often attributed to Borsani.
