The Klassependel ceiling lamp, designed in 1967 by Louis Poulsen, is a refined and functional lighting fixture. The lamp, whose name translates to “classroom lamp,” was originally designed for academic spaces. It features a main screen in gray lacquered aluminum, paired with an acrylic light diffuser at the bottom for soft, even illumination. The design is completed with a white opaline crystal appliqué at the top of the screen, which diffuses light upwards, creating a gentle ambient glow.
This lamp is in excellent condition, with the electrical components having been thoroughly tested and re-wired, while retaining its original ceramic bushing for authenticity and quality. A true testament to timeless design, it remains a versatile and sophisticated lighting option.
