An elegant 1960s highboard by Danish designer Henning Kjærnulf, reflecting his distinctive ability to combine Mid-Century Modern simplicity with more traditional influences. The balanced proportions and tapered legs give the cabinet a light architectural presence, while gently curved doors introduce a subtle classical character. Four doors create a rhythmic façade that highlights the rich natural wood grain, complemented by a neatly integrated row of four lower drawers. Inside, generous storage is enhanced by an integrated bar cabinet, adding both functionality and period charm. The combination of restrained geometry, warm timber and refined detailing makes this substantial piece equally suited to contemporary and traditional interiors. Presented in near-mint vintage condition, it is a sophisticated example of Kjærnulf’s Danish furniture design from the 1960s.
