This exquisite vintage inverted dome chandelier, designed and manufactured by Bakalowits & Söhne in Austria during the 1950s, is an elegant example of Mid-Century Modern lighting. Featuring a large textured glass bowl surrounded by a decorative row of cut crystal glass elements, the chandelier combines refined craftsmanship with sophisticated materials. Chrome and brass detailing complements the glass construction, creating a luxurious visual effect and beautifully diffused illumination. Its sculptural proportions make it a striking centrepiece for dining rooms, entrance halls or elegant living spaces. Professionally rewired for modern use, the fixture accommodates six 40W bulbs and is designed for hardwired installation with 110–240V electrical systems. Presented in very good vintage condition.
