This model of dining chair was most probably designed by famous Danish designer Kai Kristiansen, however it is not confirmed officially. It is known as model no. 32. The chairs are after complete renovation, wooden elements have been cleaned and refinished with high-quality natural oil that brings out natural and warm look of the wood. The frame is made of solid wood while the seating and backrest is reupholstered with high-quality fabric from Danish brand Kvadrat – one of Kvadrat’s all times classics produced continuously since 1960s – Hallingdal 65 (70% new wool 30% viscose). Original maker’s stamp can still be found under the seating – KS (Korup Stolefabrik) as you may see in the attached picture. These chairs are very ergonomically designed with comfortable armrest and wide seating providing high comfort of use. The chairs are a beautiful example of simple and elegant Scandinavian Design yet still very practical and comfortable.
