Pair of ''Fledermaus'' / No.728 chairs designed by Josef Hoffmann for the Wiener Werkstätte in 1906 and produced by J. & J. Kohn. In 1907 Cabaret Fledermaus opened in Vienna. The Wiener Werkstätte supplied the interior furnishings including this chair on which guests could sit backwards to watch the stage.
