A striking example of postwar Dutch Modernist design, the unit features a rational geometric structure crafted from lacquered metal, with contrasting light yellow and dark blue-grey panels reflecting De Bijenkorf's original colour palette. Its clean architectural lines, functional modular construction and graphic composition embody Kramer's innovative approach to industrial furniture design. Combining practical storage with a bold visual presence, this vintage shelving unit is ideal for living rooms, offices or design-focused interiors. The structure is sturdy and stable, remaining in good vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use.","brand":"Selective Collection - 20th Century Furniture","offers":[{"title":"Product","offer_id":67762854363452,"sku":"BE_12239","price":2536.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0829\/9390\/5980\/files\/modular_metal_shelving_system_by_friso_kramer_for_asmeta_holland_de_bijenkorf_netherlands_1953_first.png?v=1792395907","url":"https:\/\/curiouz.com\/products\/modular-metal-shelving-system-by-friso-kramer-for-asmeta-holland-de-bijenkorf-netherlands-1953","provider":"Curiouz","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
