{"product_id":"gino-sarfatti-model-566-table-lamp-for-arteluce-italy-1960s","title":"Gino Sarfatti Model 566 Table Lamp for Arteluce, Italy, 1960s","description":"An original Model 566 table lamp designed by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce, Italy, originally introduced in 1956 and produced during the 1960s. One of the most celebrated examples of Italian modernist lighting, the Model 566 perfectly reflects Sarfatti's philosophy of reducing design to its essential functional elements. The lamp features a black craquelé cast iron conical base supporting a polished chrome steel stem set at a dynamic forward angle. Its distinctive sliding socket moves freely along the stem, allowing the light to be positioned precisely where required for reading, working or ambient illumination. Rather than using a traditional lampshade, the design was conceived for a Cornalux bulb, whose mirrored upper section diffuses and directs the light while preserving the lamp's elegant minimalist silhouette. The exposed cable becomes an integral visual element, reinforcing the sculptural character of the design. This original 1960s Arteluce example is presented in very good vintage condition with light signs of age. The rubber gasket beneath the socket holder is absent, though the holder remains secure and fully functional. A warm white LED Cornalux bulb is included, remaining faithful to Sarfatti's original concept. A landmark piece of Italian design, ideal for collectors and refined contemporary interiors.","brand":"Andrea Scarabelli S.P.","offers":[{"title":"Product","offer_id":53327520366908,"sku":"SI_11200","price":1261.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0829\/9390\/5980\/files\/gino_sarfatti_model_566_table_lamp_for_arteluce_italy_1960s_first.png?v=1784017555","url":"https:\/\/curiouz.com\/products\/gino-sarfatti-model-566-table-lamp-for-arteluce-italy-1960s","provider":"Curiouz","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
