A continuous chromed tubular steel frame forms the rounded supports, sled base and cradle beneath the solid walnut drawer unit, while a low stretcher connects the structure. The three-drawer cabinet introduces warmth to the industrial geometry, with a mitred front frame and original cylindrical bar handles. An extra-clear glass top, newly made to replace the damaged original, appears to float above the frame and keeps its architectural construction fully visible. The original hardware and key are preserved, and the lock remains functional. Presented in excellent vintage condition, this elegant and fully usable desk is a refined example of Italian Rationalist furniture from the early 1940s.","brand":"Andrea Scarabelli S.P.","offers":[{"title":"Product","offer_id":67635208945980,"sku":"SI_12094","price":3721.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0829\/9390\/5980\/files\/cova_milano_rationalist_desk_in_chromed_tubular_steel_walnut_and_glass_italy_1940s_first.png?v=1791281258","url":"https:\/\/curiouz.com\/products\/cova-milano-rationalist-desk-in-chromed-tubular-steel-walnut-and-glass-italy-1940s","provider":"Curiouz","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
